The SimplyPrint plugin for Cura enables you to send sliced files directly from Cura to SimplyPrint. This enables you to start printing or save a sliced file with only a few clicks!


How to Install the SimplyPrint Plugin for Cura



The SimplyPrint plugin allows you to enhance your 3D printing experience with Cura. This article will guide you through the steps to install the plugin.

Prerequisites:



Make sure that you have Ultimaker Cura installed on your computer.
Check for any software updates for Cura before proceeding.

Installation Steps:



Step 1: Access the Marketplace



In the upper right corner of the Cura interface, click on the Marketplace button.



Step 2: Search for "SimplyPrint" and Install the Plugin



Search for SimplyPrint and find the "SimplyPrint Cloud Integration" plugin.
Once you locate the SimplyPrint plugin from the list of results, click on it to view its details. You will see an Install button. Click on this button to begin the installation process.



Step 3: Restart Cura



After the installation is complete, it's recommended to restart Cura to ensure that the plugin is properly integrated. Close Cura and then reopen it.

Step 4: Verify Installation



After restarting Cura, you can verify the installation by going to Extensions > SimplyPrint in the top menu. If you see the SimplyPrint option, the installation was successful!



How to use the plugin



Step 1: Slice a file



Take a file that you want to slice and slice it as you normally would.



Step 2: Select "Send to SimplyPrint"



After you have sliced your file, you can press on the small arrow next to "Save to Disk", and select Send to SimplyPrint cloud.



Step 3: Send to SimplyPrint!



After you have chosen the "Send to SimplyPrint cloud" option, press the "Send to SimplyPrint" button.

If you have not already linked your Cura to SimplyPrint, this will open a browser window that prompts you to sign in.



Step 4: Choose what to do with the file



You can now choose what to do with your file!
