Not assigned: the item is pinned to specific printers, models or groups
A free, capable printer won't pick up your queue item, and the queue inspector (or the printer) says "Not assigned". It's a quick fix.
What this means
SimplyPrint uses tags to route the right files to the right printers - so a job only runs on a printer that can actually print it correctly, and you don't waste time and filament printing something on the wrong setup. A file or queue item can be tagged with details like its material, color, nozzle size and bed type, and SimplyPrint also checks things like whether the model fits and whether the printer can run the file. When a printer doesn't meet one of the item's requirements, the two won't match, and the item won't start on that printer.
In this case, the item (or its queue group's "for printers / models / groups" setting) is restricted to specific printers, models or groups, and this printer isn't one of them. Even a perfectly capable printer is excluded by design.
How to fix it
- Open the item and widen its allowed printers, models or groups (or clear the restriction).
- Check the queue group's "for printers / models / groups" setting.
- Or move the item to a group that's pointed at the printer you want to use.
