Why is my Direct Prusa integration printer offline?

This guide helps troubleshoot offline issues with printers using SimplyPrint's custom Prusa firmware.
Quick reference

Quick fixes
First: Try power cycling your printer (turn off, wait 30 seconds, turn on).
- Power cycle - Turn off, wait 30 seconds, turn on
- Reload settings - Load SimplyPrint settings from USB again
- Try Ethernet - If your model has an Ethernet port
1. Check firmware
The Direct Prusa integration uses custom firmware.
Signs you have SimplyPrint firmware:
- Main screen color is blue (not orange)
- SimplyPrint tab exists under Settings > Network

2. Check the SimplyPrint tab
On your printer: Settings > Network > SimplyPrint
If it shows "Not connected":
- Get a settings file from simplyprint.io/setup-guide
- Copy to USB drive
- Load it: Settings > Network > SimplyPrint > Load Settings
3. WiFi issues
Check the WiFi icon at top of screen:
- White = Connected
- Grey = Not connected
Common issues:

Special characters in WiFi name | Use simpler network name |
WPA3 only | Enable WPA2 on router |
