Shared organization profiles in the Cloud Slicer

Shared organization profiles let admins publish slicer profiles for other users in the same account. They are useful when students, staff, or team members should use approved machine, filament, and print profiles.

What shared profiles do

A shared profile appears for other users in the account. Users can select it in the Cloud Slicer if it matches their selected engine, printer, nozzle, material, and role permissions.

Only users with permission to manage organization slicer profiles can update or delete shared profiles.

Share a profile

  1. Go to Settings > Slicing > Slicer profiles.
  2. Select the slicer engine.
  3. Choose the profile type: machine, filament, or print profile.
  4. Select or create the profile.
  5. Enable Shared profile for all users in the organization.
  6. Save the profile.

The shared profile then becomes available to other users where compatible.

Who can share profiles

The sharing checkbox appears only when the account has shared slicer profiles and the user has permission to manage organization slicer profiles.

If you do not see the checkbox, check your plan and role permissions.

Editing shared profiles

Shared profiles can be used by many people. Before changing one, consider whether active users depend on it.

If you need to test changes without affecting others, copy the profile first, edit the copy, and share it once it is ready.

Partner shared profiles

Partner accounts can also provide profiles to managed accounts. Managed accounts can view and copy partner profiles, but they cannot directly edit the partner-owned original.
