How to delete your SimplyPrint account

No longer have a 3D printer, or simply don’t need the SimplyPrint platform anymore and want your account deleted? Here’s how to proceed:


  1. Go to your account settings
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and locate the "Delete account" button.


  1. When prompted, enter your password or your 2FA code.
  2. Carefully read and understand the confirmation message. At this stage we also ask you to select a reason for deleting your account, this really helps us better understand what we can do better, you are more than welcome to also leave a comment here, or contacting us directly to see what we can do to help improve your experience.
  3. Once you've confirmed by clicking "Yes, delete my account" your account will be scheduled for deletion, in most cases this means your account will immediately be deleted, and when the page reloads you are signed out.


What gets deleted?


  • All your of your account data, including personal identifiable information, and information derived from that is always permanently deleted as soon as your account is no longer accessible and you cannot login.
  • All your files are marked for deletion and will be removed shortly after.
  • All of your printers will be marked as removed, disconnected and marked as pending for you to add on another account, or to disconnect entirely from SimplyPrint.


Why did my account not get deleted immediately?


  • When you delete your account in SimplyPrint, we also remove ALL the external data with various providers associated with your account, in some cases this cannot happen instantly, so we frequently check to make sure your account is first removed once we can guarantee all your information has been removed, if you experience your account not being deleted after a while, contact us as seen below here.


  • In some cases we cannot delete your account immediately due to outstanding or pending invoices, if you have questions please contact us.


My account is marked as scheduled for deletion but i did not request it?


In accordance with European GDPR laws, and other international standards, we automatically delete inactive accounts after a long period of inactivity. Before doing so you'll ALWAYS be notified by email, and you can always cancel this request by navigating to the same section as seen above and clicking "Cancel Account Deletion".



Something went wrong when deleting my account

When you reach out, we will need:

  • Your full name (the one used during signup)
  • Your email address


Additionally, you must contact us from the email address associated with your account to verify your identity. This ensures we can confirm you are the rightful account owner.
