How to reset or change your password

There are two ways to set a new password for your SimplyPrint account: reset it from the login screen if you have forgotten it, or change it from your account settings while you are already signed in. This guide covers both.

If you are locked out: reset from the login screen

Use this when you cannot log in because you do not know your current password.

  1. Go to the SimplyPrint login page at simplyprint.io/panel/login.
  2. Click Forgot password? and enter the email address on your account.
  3. Check your inbox for an email from SimplyPrint with a reset link.
  4. Click the link, choose a new password (at least 8 characters), and confirm it.
  5. Log in with your new password.

For your security, SimplyPrint shows the same confirmation whether or not the email matches an account, so the reset email only arrives if that address is actually registered. If nothing turns up, double-check you used the right email and look in your spam or junk folder.

If you are signed in: change it from account settings

Use this when you already know your password and just want to set a new one.

  1. Click your name and avatar in the top-right corner of the panel and choose Your account.
  2. Open the Security tab (the shield icon).
  3. In the change-password form, enter your current password, then your new password twice.
  4. Click Change password.

The Change password button stays disabled until both new-password fields match, and your new password must be at least 8 characters. If your current password does not match, the change is rejected and nothing is saved.

If you sign in with single sign-on (SSO) - for example a school or work Microsoft or Google account - you will not see a change-password form. Your password is managed by your identity provider, so reset it there instead.

Tips for a strong password

  • Use at least 12 characters, mixing letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Do not reuse a password from another site.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication for a second layer of protection, so a stolen password alone is not enough to get in.
