The 15 languages

For a long time SimplyPrint was English and Danish only. The other 13 languages are new, and they are complete rather than partial.
What is translated
Both of these are fully translated into all 15 languages:
- The panel, meaning everything you see once you are signed in: menus, buttons, settings, print statuses, error messages and confirmation dialogs.
- The website at simplyprint.io, including the pricing page, the feature pages and the education pages.
What is not translated
A few things are deliberately separate, so you may still meet English in these places:
- This helpdesk. Articles are written in English, with a small number also available in Danish. Your browser can translate an article page if you need it.
- Slicer settings. The Cloud Slicer interface follows your panel language like everything else, but the setting categories, setting names and tooltips inside it are imported straight from the slicer engine you use, in that engine's own translations. They have their own setting, and often cover more languages than we do. See how to change the language of the panel for how the two fit together.
- Filament, printer and material names. Product names are kept as the manufacturer writes them, in every language.
How complete is each language?
Each language covers 33,951 individual pieces of text, and none of them are left untranslated. That means there is no half-translated screen where some buttons switched and others did not, which is the usual experience with partially translated software.
Across the 14 languages other than English, that is a little over 475,000 translations.
How the translations were made
English is the original. Every sentence in SimplyPrint is written in English first by our team, and the other languages are translated from it.
We are a small team, and reading 475,000 translations ourselves is not something we can do. So the odd sentence may be worded strangely, too formal, too casual, or occasionally just wrong.
That is where you come in. If you spot one, tell us and we will fix it, see report a wrong or confusing translation.
Your language is not on the list
If SimplyPrint is not available in your language yet, let us know at contact@simplyprint.io and say which language you would like. We track requests and it genuinely affects which language we add next.
In the meantime, your browser can translate the panel for you. In Chrome and Edge, right-click the page and choose "Translate to ...". In Safari, click the translate icon in the address bar. Firefox has its own built-in translation feature.
