The promotional assets card
The promotional assets card sits on the affiliate dashboard, below the codes and commission cards.

The card is organised by asset type. Each asset has a preview, a copy button (for code snippets), and a download button (for images).
What's in the pack
Three categories of assets:
- Badges - small embed graphics for your site / signature / blog footer.
- Copy snippets - short ready-to-paste blurbs describing SimplyPrint, with your link inline.
- Banners - full-width promotional graphics for blog posts, sidebars, and email headers.
Every asset has your referral link or main affiliate code pre-baked in, so anything you copy or download already attributes traffic to you.
Badges
The badge section offers three message variants in three colour styles each:

Message variants:
- Powered by SimplyPrint - for products and services that use SimplyPrint underneath.
- Works with SimplyPrint - for hardware, accessories, or integrations.
- Compatible with SimplyPrint - generic compatibility statement.
Colour styles: dark, blue, and light, so you can pick the one that fits your site's background.
For each badge, you can copy either the HTML embed (for websites) or markdown embed (for README files, GitHub, etc). Pasting the snippet places the badge image with a tracked link wrapped around it.
Copy snippets
The copy snippet section has a handful of pre-written blurbs of varying length, all describing SimplyPrint and ending with your affiliate URL. Useful for:
- Video descriptions: "I use SimplyPrint to manage my print farm - it handles the queue, slicing, and remote monitoring from one dashboard. Try it: [your link]"
- Blog post outros: "Disclosure: I'm an affiliate. If you sign up through this link, I get a small commission and you get an extended trial."
- Email signatures: short single-line plug with the link.
Each snippet has a copy button. Paste into wherever you publish.
Banners
Banners are pre-sized graphics designed for common embed slots:
- Wide rectangle (728x90) - traditional banner, fits in blog headers and sidebars.
- Square (300x300) - sidebar widgets and Instagram-friendly.
- Tall vertical (160x600) - older skyscraper banner format, still useful in some blog templates.
Each banner is available with your referral link wrapped around the image. Download the file, embed it in your CMS, and traffic from the banner counts as your referral.
How the embeds track referrals
All embedded assets (badges, banners, snippet links) include your affiliate referral URL. When a visitor clicks the embed:
- They're routed to SimplyPrint (or your code's custom landing page, if you set one).
- A tracking cookie is set tying them to you for the full attribution window (16 months by default).
- Any signup and subsequent payments within that window count as your referral and earn you commission per the commission schedule.
The visitor doesn't see any of this. They just see the badge or banner you embedded.
Tips for using assets well
A few things that improve conversion from embedded assets:
- Place the badge near a relevant action. A "compatible with SimplyPrint" badge next to your printer's specs is more compelling than the same badge in the footer.
- Use snippets in context. "I use SimplyPrint" with your link, after talking about your workflow in a video, beats a generic plug.
- Test the dark vs light badge against your site background. The colours look different in context.
- Disclose affiliate links. Most platforms (YouTube, blog SEO, FTC guidance) require this. The disclosure also builds trust with your audience.
- Rotate snippets. If you publish a lot, varying the copy keeps the recommendation from feeling templated.
Requesting custom assets
If you need an asset that isn't in the pack (specific dimensions for a particular slot, a banner with a custom message tailored to your audience, a video bumper), contact contact@simplyprint.io. The team can make custom assets for affiliates with reach that justifies the design time.
This is also the route for animated banners, motion graphics, and other formats that aren't in the standard pack.
